Did you know that Seward was named the Mural Capital of Alaska by the state legistlature? At that time (2015) we had 15 murals around town. Now we had 35 by the Seward Mural Society and many others by the schools and private commissions, all within an area populated by only 1,000 people. Folks drive down from Anchorage to see how we are progressing by taking a mural walking tour. Routes for the tour are on rack cards at the Seward Chamber of Commerce.
